A spare battery for Eagle. The battery is hot-swappable, so a flat cell comes out and a charged one goes in without the device dropping what it is doing.
Back-to-back rosters are where it earns its place: overnight security cover, double shifts in health, long field deployments in utilities and transport. Charged spares live at the sign-in point and workers swap instead of waiting.
One spare per device is the usual ratio for teams running more than one shift a day. Sites on a single day shift can charge overnight and skip it.
