A retractable lanyard holds Falcon or Phoenix against the chest and lets the wearer pull it out to arm's length without unclipping anything. It draws back in when let go.
It suits work where the device is used as well as worn: reading a Falcon screen, pressing Phoenix through a jacket pocket, checking a timer between jobs. Community services, facilities and transport teams take it most often.
One per worker. In settings where lanyards get grabbed, the double break lanyard is the safer choice.
